Seafood Substitutes - Non Animal Based (Frozen)
Includes all products which can be described/observed as a healthy food alternative to seafood proteins. These products are non animal based and an imitation of seafood products, meant to simulate the taste and mouthfeel of real seafood but are normally made from a combination of non animal based ingredients. Includes products such as algae, soya, fungus, beans, lentils, peas and chickpeas based products. These products must be frozen to extend their consumable life.
Excludes: Excludes all seafood-based products and any other protein rich products such as eggs and pulses that constitute the main recipe ingredients. Also excludes Seafood Substitutes - Non Animal based shelf sable and perishable products and Seafood Substitutes - Animal based frozen, perishable and shelf stable products.
