FOOD MILL

This term is used to describe a non-electric kitchen utensil, of which the principle is to press food against a perforated plate using a crank connected to worm screw, thereby reducing the food to a purée. It has stabilizing feet that enable it to be kept in place over a recipient (bowl, casserole etc.).
